Band History:
VAIRON began after frontman Steve Kinzer left his old band in the summer of 2006.  He joined forces with local guitar hero, Todd Best, and began writing and recording demos.  Former Silent Hero guitarist, Derek Demara soon joined and the trio have been working hard ever since.

Meaning Behind The Name:
An old friend of theirs had the most unique name - Vairon.

CD release:
VAIRON is currently in the process of recording their debut five-song EP with producer Jim Diamond and Ghetto Recorders.

What does the future hold:
After winning 89's I'm With the Band contest, VAIRON will be recording their EP, flying out to a major label showcase in LA and will be in contact with major label, Nettwerk Records. 

The band will be opening for national act Moneen on Tuesday, March 20 at the Shelter in Detroit.  Tickets are $9 in advance and doors open at 6:30 PM.  All ages show.  See you there!
