Band History:
Here's the story: In the Fall of 2002, front man extraordinaire Steve Kinzer (lead vocals / keys / synths / song writer) began collaborating with guitarist Mike Peraino and their styles blended instantly. They played their first show a few months later in January of 2003 and immediately astonished their listeners. Several different musicians have graced the band's line-up, but the roster was finally completed when guitarist/vocalist Derek Demara joined Silent Hero and added his own dynamic brand of vocals and guitar. Other Silent Hero staples include the thundering bass guitar of Larry Burdick and an explosive brand of drums and percussion by Todd K. Vesey. These five musicians combine their talents to produce their own style of power/pop/rock that can be universally enjoyed by all music-lovers.

Live, they have toured all over the country and grabbed a spot on the Vans Warped Tour. They have been featured on multiple radio stations as well as featured on the front page of PureVolume.com. Their interactive website receives about 15,000 unique hits a month. They also shot a video for their rock anthem that happens to be the title-track off their new full-length album, "All That I Have" which was released in January of 2006.

Meaning Behind The Name:
The name "Silent Hero" is derived from our everyday heroes that go about their business and perform small deeds or favors that make a difference to others. Just because you might not be a world renown hero doesn't mean you can't be a hero in someone else's life.

Musical Style:
With five guys in the band, you get quite a variety of musical influences. To name a few: Boston, Journey, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, Jimmy Eat World, Sunny Day Real Estate, Zebrahead, blink-182

CD release:
The band just released their first full length album, "All That I Have" this January. The album has had a phenomenal response not only in Michigan, but all over the country as far as Hawaii, there has also been a great response from the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Germany.

Copies of the CD are available on their online web store for $12 which includes shipping and handling. It's also in stores around the metro-Detroit and a few select stores in Chicago - you can check online at www.SilentHero.com for a list of stores carrying our CD. You can also purchase the CD online at www.CDbaby.com If you come out to the shows you can pick up a CD for $10 and receive a DVD of our music video "All That I Have" which was recently shot over the summer.

What does the future hold:
Everyone is excited about the new album, "All That I Have." We are having people call us every week that want to help spread the word and share the music. We are currently writing new material for our second full length album. In the meantime before we start demos and recording, we're playing as many shows as possible and promoting our first full length album, "All That I Have."   We're also putting together our summer schedule with a possible fifteen date tour on the west coast. Our producer recently returned from the world's largest music festival, Medim, in France and has European distribution offers pending. We are looking forward to a very successful and exciting year.
