Can you tell me a little bit about the band?
Eron:  We're a post-hardcore band out of Dayton, OH. We formed about two years ago from the ashes of our former band A Day In The Life.

Do you remember your first show?
Eron:  Our first show as Hawthorne Heights was at a comic book store in Columbus, OH with Bayside and Glasseater

What kinds of bands have influenced you?
Eron:  Each member has totally different influences. For me its Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, and Quicksand. For the other guys its completely different. We do all like Jimmy Eat World a lot.

What kind of bands would you like to tour with?
Eron:  I'd love to tour with Jimmy Eat World, New Found Glory, AFI, Comeback Kid or Death Cab For Cutie

If you weren't in a band, what would you be doing now?
Eron:  I'd probably still be working a desk job at Time Warner Cable...its what I was doing before we got signed.

What got you guys through hard times?
Eron:  Our love for music and our desire to make music a career.

What's the best thing about being a band?
Eron:  Touring and playing in front of people who appreciate what you do.

What's your all time favorite song?
Eron:  There's WAY too many to answer that.

What's your favorite song to play live?
Eron:  Life On Standby

What was the very first concert you went to?
Eron:  It was a show in the basement of a church in my hometown of Princeton, NJ. It was with Mouthpiece, Endpoint and Shift. My first real big concert was Lollapalooza. Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, The Boredoms, and I think The Beastie Boys played. It was wild.

What's the last show you've been to?
Eron:  I saw Hot Hot Heat play. We had an off-day of tour and they were playing the same club the night before we did.

Do you remember your first job?
Eron:  Yeah, it was at a bagel store making sandwiches.

What's your favorite video game?
Eron:  Any of the Bomberman games are fun. Mario Kart for Super Nintendo is my favorite!

What's your most embarrassing moment?
Eron:  Any time you mess up a part live its pretty embarrassing.

Boxers or briefs?
Eron:  Both, it depends on what kind of mood I'm in.

Coke or Pepsi?
Eron:  I don't really care for either.

The Simpsons or King of the Hill?
Eron:  The Simpsons of course!

Hilary Duff or Lindsay Lohan?
Eron:  Uh...I don't know...Kelly Clarkson

How much time do you spend on your phone a day?
Eron:  A lot. I'd say about two hours when you combine business calls and personal calls.

Tell me something no one else knows.
Eron:  I dislike cotton candy.

What's the best advice you can give someone?
Eron:  What goes around comes around. Be nice to everyone you meet. If you're a dick, you'll find out very quickly that it's a small world out there and how you treat someone can come back to bite you if you're not careful.
